
We are an environmentally conscious yoga studio committed to creating a friendly, positive and inspiring environment where everyone, from those who are new to yoga and fitness, to those with years of experience, can study with certified teachers and learn at their own pace.
Moksha (pronounced: mOk'sha) hot yoga is unique series of 40 postures that combine the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room (37C to 39C). The moksha series is a cardiovascular workout that loosens, strengthens and tones the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. The heat allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability in both 60 and 90 minute formats.
Moksha Yoga Winnipeg also offers a variety of classes in other
forms of yoga, pilates and fitness in our 2nd studio on the mezzanine
level. Our goal is to bring the mindfulness and body awareness cultivated in yoga into every class that takes place at MYW.
